Body Shaming
Embarrassing someone for the way their body looks.
Example: mean comments on a photo about someone’s body shape, particularly if it seems to target or criticize perceived attractiveness.


Bullying
Bullying someone for online behavior that is outside of common gender stereotypes.
Example: bulling a boy for watching make-up tutorial video, or a girl for using a profile picture showing her short haircut.
Photo Editing
Editing photos to make them sexual or gendered.
Example: adding emoji’s on a photo that are meant to represent sexual body parts.


‘Sexting’
Sending a nude or nearly nude image of a peer to others.
Example: texting a photo of an individual with limited clothing on to someone who did not wish/ask to receive the photo.
Unwanted Touching
Involve unwelcome physical touch, making someone feel uncomfortable or violated.
Example: A coworker repeatedly places their hand on another employee’s lower back or shoulders despite being asked to stop.
